Angelina Jolie dismisses tabloid rumors that she and Brad Pitt are getting married

Thursday, September 8th, 2011 | Angelina Jolie

Gossip lovers will have to take a pass, at least temporarily, on discovering anything new in the lives of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

In an interview excerpt posted Tuesday at vanityfair.com, Jolie said the superstar couple has “no secret wedding plans.”

She also dismissed a few other tabloid rumors that haunt her, saying: “I’m not pregnant. I’m not adopting at the moment.”

In the mag’s October issue, due out Tuesday, Jolie focuses the conversation on her new movie, “In the Land of Blood and Honey” (due Dec. 23). The film is a love story set during the Bosnian War and marks her screenwriting and directorial debut. Jolie says she’s feeling some pressure.

“I’ve never felt more exposed,” Jolie said. “My whole career, I’ve hidden behind other people’s words.”

‘Real Housewives’ suicide show

The suicide of Russell Armstrong will be the subject of a Bravo special featuring cast members from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” including Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof and Kyle and Kim Richards.

Word of the special came from the Los Angeles Times on Monday. The newspaper’s Show Tracker column reported that “Real Housewives” star Taylor Armstrong, estranged wife of Armstrong, wasn’t present during Monday’s taping of the special.

Bravo apparently has decided to re-edit parts of the new season of “Real Housewives” and plans to stick to its scheduled Sept. 5 premiere date.

Russell Armstrong, 47, was found hanged Aug. 15 in a bedroom at a friend’s home where he’d been staying since he and his wife separated. She filed for divorce in July. On Tuesday, TMZ.com posted audio from the 911 call that was made after Armstrong’s body was discovered. A funeral was held last week.

Cummings flying back to ABC

Former “Detroit 1-8-7″ star Erin Cummings told Names Faces on Tuesday that fans can see her back on ABC this fall in the new series “Pan Am.”

Cummings will play Ginny Sadler, the sexy young mistress of an airline exec, in the stylish ’60s-set drama about the high-flying lives of pilots and flight attendants.

Cummings, who founded the Mittens for Detroit charity while working in the Motor City last season, is expected to show up in the series’ fourth episode. “Pan Am,” starring Christina Ricci, debuts at 10 p.m. Sept. 25.
