Angelina Jolie: I’m passionate
Angelina is too “passionate” about her life to ever feel “exhausted”.
The 36-year-old actress recently made her directorial debut with the film In the Land of Blood and Honey and also raises six children with her partner Brad Pitt.
Speaking to Us Weekly, the 36-year-old star explained she doesn’t find it hard to be a movie star and a mother of a large brood because her job isn’t a chore.
“Like every woman, I think we just take time to do all the things we love,” she said. “I’m very blessed that I love my job, I love to do charity work and I love to be with my kids, so you find the time.
“You’re not exhausted by it if you’re passionate about it.”
Angelina appreciates that she has an unconventional private life but insists the concept of family is not what it used to be. The couple’s ten-year-old son Maddox is adopted from Cambodia, eight-year-old Pax is from Vietnam while Zahara, six, was born in Ethiopia. They also have biological kids Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
“I think that today more than ever, we understand that family comes in all different ways,” she shared.
“Two mothers, two fathers, single parents, adopted, different races – and so family is where the love is. Family is where you find loyalty and friendship.”
