Avril Lavigne screamed just as the fan was approaching her onstage.

Avril Lavigne got a little too up close and personal with a fan during a recent concert in Brazil.

The singer was about to launch into a cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You,” when a crazed fan stormed the stage and ran for Lavigne arms outstretched.

Luckily, security swooped in just as the person — it’s not clear whether it was a man or a woman — was about to grab her.

The fright drew a scream from Lavigne, who tried to jump from the piano she was perched upon in order to run from the fan.

But once she realized she was safe, she was able to laugh about it and continue on with her show.

“Just getting in the moment there,” Lavigne joked. “Okay, let’s try that again.”

Lavigne’s “Black Star” tour continues into Europe until Sept. 19.
