Best Videos of 2011: P!nk, Best Coast, Ke$ha, Robyn and Gaga – Video
As 2011 comes to a close, Yahoo names the top twenty music videos of the year. Spanning from worldwide renowned acts like Radiohead and the Beastie Boys, to indie gems Stars, Tune-yard and Matt Kim, the ladies of the list particularly commanded SheWired’s attention.
Rihanna’s cinematic clip for “We Found Love,” Tune-yard’s kaledoscpic killer “Bizness,” P!nk’s LGBT anthem “Fuckin’ Perfect,” Ke4ha’s “Blow,” and Katy Perry’s flashback, cameo-laden “Last Friday Night” all made the list.
One you may have missed comes from Los Angeles indie-pop act Best Coast. The happy duo eagerly teamed up with Internet giants from icanhascheezburger.com for quite possibly the cutest Youtube cat video ever. (Besides your own, of course!)
As Yahoo’s music blog puts it: “I can has great music video? Yes, you can, Best Coast.”
