Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are said to be “cooling down” their relationship after having a family intervention.

The ‘Dance Again’ singer and her dancer beau are said to have been having intense arguments in recent weeks and things are coming to a climax as they moved too fast. According to OK! magazine, some of Jennifer’s close family members felt the need to get involved in their relationship and make her see that things are moving too fast.

“Jen’s family is very protective of her, and they’re really concerned that she’s moving way too fast with Casper,” an insider told the publication.

Apparently, during the intervention, Jennifer’s mother, sister and friends “focused on the fact that Jennifer has a long history of moving too quickly when it comes to her relationships.”

They also noted that the large age gap between her and Casper can’t be healthy for the relationship.

The story may come as a shock considering the couple have been spotted together in public recently looking more in love than ever.
