Jessica Simpson to Launch Fine Diamond Jewelry!

Atlanta Jessica Simpson fans, the diva has signed up with a major jewelry chain to launch her latest offering in her fashion business – diamonds!

Word has it that Simpson has paired up with a diamond merchant Firestar Diamond as the gem supplier’s first celebrity license.

Of her collection, Jessica says that the collection has been beautifully crafted and the unique designs are “airy and artistic” and so easy to wear.

Simpson’s Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend jewelry collection, will retail exclusively through Zales, hitting the stores across the nation this October.

The pop star’s jewelry collection will include necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings using gold, silver and diamonds, priced from $79 to $999.

The Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend collection is merely another way for Jessica Simpson to diversify her fashion business, which includes clothing, accessories, shoes, makeup and fragrances that bear her name, capitalizing on her musical fame.

In 2010, Simpson was able to take in $750 million in sales from her various fashion lines and with the new addition will undoubtedly approach $1 billion for 2012, undoubtedly rivaling big names in the fashion industry!

Simpson was also approached to serve as a mentor to competing contestants on NBC’s Fashion Star, TV’s latest fashion design show.Don’t know about you, but I’m certainly curious what the Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend collection by Jessica Simpson is going to look like.
