Katy Perry Boyfriend: Singer’s New Beau Making Bold Move for the Star

After splitting from husband Russell Brand back in December, Katy Perry dove back into the dating pool head first. But as quickly as she got back on the market, it appears she may already be off of it! Katy’s recent fling with model Baptiste Giabiconi is apparently getting more and more serious … at least according to Giabiconi’s rep.
“It’s new, they’re feeling it out, but they’re spending a lot of time together,” the model’s rep tells Page Six. In fact, Katy and Baptiste are spending so much time together, he’s contemplating a move to California to be closer to his lady love. “He’s considering moving to LA, at least for some time,” his rep confirmed. “He’s really focusing on his music career from France, but he’s always traveling for his modeling career.”
Perry and her new man are currently in Europe, where they’ve been spotted canoodling everywhere from Paris nightclubs to a Eurostar train. “Katy looked really happy and in a good place,” a friend says of their train trip together. Another onlooker on the same Eurostar tells US Weekly: “They were all chatting away like best friends — looking at magazines, looking out the window, just relaxing.”
Currently, Giabiconi is best known as the muse of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. In fact, before Katy and Baptiste went public with their relationship, many believed the model was actually Lagerfeld’s boyfriend!
Will Katy and her new man last if he moves to her homestate of Cali? Only time will tell. But if Baptiste has his way, he’d love to have Katy be his Mrs. Giabiconi! “If I could make her divorce her husband, I’d marry her,” the model claimed before Katy and Russell’s split. Now, he might get his wish!
