Katy Perry Miami Vacation, Star Urges Rob Pattinson to Take Break With Her (VIDEO)
Katy Perry appears to be adjusting to the single life well. Days after her divorce was finalized with Russell Brand, the singer was spotted with John Mayer taking the weekend off in Miami.
Katy Perry has been spending much of her free time as of late with John Mayer.
“They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!” an observer told People magazine. Perry has also had the fellow singer over to her house, where the two presumably shared a night in, over pizza delivery.
Meanwhile Perry has also taken a solo trip to Miami where she was spotted poolside with friends. Perry appeared to be the life of the party, making friends laugh, according to the Daily News.
Perry has also been a crying shoulder for Robert Pattinson, according to one report, which revealed that Perry had attempted to comfort Pattinson after it was revealed that long time girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheated on him.
“She has reassured him she is very much there for him just as he was for her when she split from Russell. She has urged him to take a break with her,” a source told the Daily Star.

Pattinson, who moved out of the residence he shared with Stewart only days after her public apology for the affair, has stated that he needs time to clear his thoughts and decide upon his actions.
“He’s angry, hurt and upset and is sick of people taking sides already. He’s hoping to get two months to himself without Kristen around just to think things through,” the source continued.
“She has sent him messages asking him to hook up in New York for crisis talks next week but he wants to be alone.”
