Katy Perry propelled by beans

Katy Perry has admitted she has eaten so many baked beans since arriving in the UK that she has been ‘going off like a firework’.

The singer is currently in the homeland of her husband, Russell Brand, while she plays the UK leg of her California Dreams tour, and confessed that the British favourite has been giving her the windy pops.
She told The Sun: ‘I love coming to London so I can have baked beans on toast. They do bloat me and I’m afraid I’m going to go off like a firework, but I do love them.’
Meanwhile the 26-year-old was spotted buying 20 tins of beans at the ultra-posh Harrods food hall in Knightsbridge, London.
A source said: ‘Katy’s love for classic British food was evident at the weekend when she filled her trolley with 20 cans of beans. She didn’t stop piling them in. She also bought Marmite, Twinings tea, chocolate digestives as well as the posher stuff, including Harrods shortbread.’
