Katy Perry seen out with hunky Chanel catwalk model in Paris
Katy Perry has a new love interest, reports say — male model Baptiste Giabiconi, reported to be the highest-paid male model in the world.
According to the website Celebzter.com, Perry and Giabiconi hit it off after meeting at a Chanel runway show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.
“He was sitting next to her at the show,” a source tells the site. “Then we all had dinner the other night, they were holding hands and looking cozy, and now they are inseparable.”
The source also reports that Giabiconi bought Perry a bouquet of flowers and had planned a romantic date with her, which was derailed by the the fire at the Place Vendome yesterday.
“He is a great guy and he’s totally smitten [with Perry],” a friend of Giabiconi’s said, confirming the news to the site. “Katy is the perfect girl for him.”
The website also posted photos of Perry and Giabiconi, one where the two stand close and Perry appears to be staring at Giabiconi with hungry eyes. The two were photographed together by other sources as well.
“Teenage Dream” singer Perry is newly single after husband Russell Brand filed for divorce on Dec. 30, after the two spent the holidays apart. Brand has been seen around Los Angeles with reported new paramour, 25-year-old model and artist Oriella Medellin.
French model Giabiconi is best known for his work modeling for Chanel, Fendi, and Karl Lagerfeld.
