Katy Perry to beat Jackson’s five? - The Update News of Your Favorive Celebrities

A decision to release another single from her second album could see Perry gain a sixth US number one from the same LP and break a chart record set by Michael Jackson back in 1987-88.

Perry recently matched the late King Of Pop’s record by achieving her fifth number one single, Last Friday Night, from her second studio album Teenage Dream. Jackson’s five came from the Bad album.

When asked by Billboard about a possible sixth release, Capitol’s Greg Thompson replied: “We want to savour five right now, but in the world of Katy, you never know.”
