Keeping up with Kim: Paris Hilton the copycat borrows her rival Kardashian’s look

Keeping up with the Kardashians is not easy – just ask Paris Hilton.
The socialite, who has had some competition in recent years from her former best friend and employee Kim, was spotted at LAX airport in an outfit seemingly inspired by her brunette rival.
The 30-year-old touched down in leather trousers, black boots and an oversized Rachel Zoe cape cinched in at the waist.
Well, they say imitation is the sincerest of flattery: Paris Hilton arrived at LAX today in a look seemingly borrowed from Kim Kardashian
The look was reminiscent of Kim’s signature style and in fact, the newlywed wore a similar ensemble at the same airport back in August.
The pair were once best friends, but no longer mix in the same social circles these days.
Kim previously worked for the heiress as a wardrobe consultant of sorts during her early days as a stylist and Paris then took her under her wing, bringing her along to Hollywood parties during their early twenties.
Then, seemingly straight from Paris’s textbook, she found fame with a sex tape and later a reality TV show.

Kim’s star has risen to stratospheric levels over recent years. The reality star posted on her website today how her extravagant wedding to basketball star Kris Humphries, which was aired in two parts over Sunday and Monday night on E!, drew a combined 10.5m viewers.
Paris’s latest reality show, The World According to Paris, was recently dropped after poor ratings.
When asked earlier this year about her former friend during an interview on ABC, Paris was clearly irked.
‘Do you feel as if people like Kim Kardashian are overshadowing you?’ reporter, Dan Harris, asked.
‘No, not at all,’ Hilton replied through gritted teeth.
Then when Harris asked if Paris’s time in the spotlight had passed, a furious Hilton stormed out.

Paris has recently found a new best friend to party with – British heiress Petra Ecclestone.
But when not socialising, Hilton is still finding time to build her growing business empire.
She recently returned from the Philippines were she announced her first real estate venture with Century Properties to develop a beach club.
The heiress has also just announced her new line of eyewear with OEM in Asia and she launched her 14th fragrance Passport ‘St Moritz’ in the U.S. and worldwide.
Her perfume brands alone have grossed more than $1.4billion since 2004 and she has 35 Paris Hilton retail stores worldwide compared to the Kardashians’ three DASH clothing boutiques in Miami, New York and Los Angeles.

They both look like people with no talent to speak of , making way too much money doing, well I am not sure, wearing overpriced tacky clothes. THESE are the people the protesters should be asking about the money. Nice capes “ladies”. OBTW, the BUG EYE glasses needs to go away ASAP.

I thank Kim Kardashian(s) for completely banishing Paris from reality realm! Oh how it must ranckle Paris, she must be seething inside to know that while Kim is now wealthier than her, no one was interested at all in watching her reality life and that she is now one big washed out has-been with humongous feet and a very very strange looking nose

I don’t think it’s a matter of Paris having been eclipsed. I think people got tired of Paris Hilton, just as they will get tired of Kim Kardashian. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
