“F–k that, she’s Canadian,” Marilyn Manson told Entertainmentwise, quashing rumours that he’s dating Canada’s pop-punk darling Avril Lavigne and insulting an entire nation at the same time. Manson admits that he knows Lavigne, he even jokes that he accidentally shaved her head once, but denies a romantic relationship.
“You never know where these stories come from,” says Manson, “Sometimes they have some sort of valid truth to them.” Patently cocksure, he adds, “Did I f–k Avril Lavigne? Who knows. I can’t remember, but chances are no. Sorry Avril.”
Manson is no stranger to bizarre rumours, like the one about having a rib removed so that he could fellate himself or that he played Kevin’s nerdy sidekick on The Wonder Years. He says they amuse him. For now, it seems the only romance that Manson and Lavigne share is their mutual fondness for black nail polish.
