She acknowledges her heart breaking divorce from ex Russell Brand in her highly anticipated new movie.

But Katy Perry fans will also get a close look at the people who helped get her through the rough patch in the concert film due for release on July 6.

One important source of support is her 29-year-old sister Angela Hudson, who has a close resemblance to the pop star, 27.

Uncanny: Katy Perry’s sister Angela Hudson looks incredibly like the singer in the trailer for her new movie Part of Me

The two have similar physical features including large eyes, and although they may not have the same singing ability they speak the same. 

The latest trailer for Part of Me shows Hudson – which is Katy’s real surname – confronting her fear of heights with her famous relative.

Part of her: The siblings travel together on tour and show how close they are in the release due in July

The pair seem extremely close and the Firework performer even allows her family member to tag along on tour.

Angela said: ‘We always kind of had this deal that when [Katy] made it big, I was going to work with her and we were going to be together.’

Showing Perry and her team members enjoying a water part on their day off from travelling the globe, her sister continues to spill the beans on her personality traits.

She added: ‘My sister, not only does she like to work hard on tour, [but] she likes to play hard on tour. 

‘Any time we go to a city where we have a day off, she always likes me to explore something fun with her.’

The girls, who have a brother David, are the children of pastors Keith and Mary Hudson.

Katy said about the motion picture: ‘A lot of people have a lot of ideas about me, but this is a film that I made for myself, for my fans … so that they can get the all-access pass. And I’ve never been this revealing.’

Katy thinks the movie will make people realise that her life isn’t perfect and she has had to work very hard to achieve her success.

She added to Access Hollywood: ‘I feel like it’s important for me, right now, to start, kind of, breaking down the stereotype that everyone that’s in this position is perfect, and that if you want to achieve your goals or your dreams that you have to be perfect or you have to be rich or you have to own this one thing.

‘I don’t think that’s how you get anywhere. I think it’s really just based on hard work, which you see a lot of it in this film, and talent, and I think people will feel like they are experiencing it through my eyes … like it’s from exactly my point of view.’

And the ‘Firework’ hitmaker claimed the hardest part of making the movie was to appear with no make-up in some scenes.

She said: ‘Well it’s a lot of different parts of me, this film, and some of them are, well they were difficult to put in – especially the ones of me with no make-up.’
