Megan Fox: Brian Austin Green is my soul mate

(CBS News) Megan Fox was just a kid when Brian Austin Green ate at The Peach Pit and had a locker at the fictitious West Beverly High. But she definitely remembers her first encounter with the former “Beverly Hills 90210″ star, whom she now calls her husband.
“I didn’t know who he was, since I was too young for ‘Beverly Hills 90210,’” Fox, 25, says in the April issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. “But the first time I saw him, I got butterflies. And the first time he casually touched me? There was so much electricity.”
That electricity continues, as Fox still sounds smitten with her 38-year-old husband.
“We’ve had obstacles, and we’ve overcome them,” she reveals. “I truly feel like he’s my soul mate. I don’t want to sound corny or cliche, but I do believe we are destined to live this part of our lives together.”
Fox also addresses her “tough-girl” image in the interview, saying, “It’s because I have tattoos and I say curse words, and apparently, that’s crazy. I think maybe I give off this energy of seeming like I don’t give a f—, and that’s misinterpreted. But I’m not wild.”
The April issue of Cosmopolitan hits newsstands March 6.
Fox stars in the upcoming Judd Apatow film, “This is 40,” alongside Paul Rudd, Jason Segel and Melissa McCarthy.
