Nicole Richie: `I adore Jessica Simpson`

Nicole Richie has rubbished reports that she doesn’t get on with fellow Fashion Star mentor, Jessica Simpson.

Reports surfaced that the two were struggling to see eye-to-eye on the reality show, but Richie insisted that she has nothing but love for Simpson.
‘I’ll tell you right now that that couldn’t be further from the truth,’ Richie, 29, told Ryan Seacrest. ‘I actually love and adore Jessica.
‘I’ve known her for years, first of all, so I already knew who she was as a person. She is someone who’s very kind, very sweet and extremely smart and a great businesswoman – someone that I really respect. I actually couldn’t love someone or respect someone more.’
The new series sees aspiring designers compete for a multi-million dollar contract to start their own brands.
‘I’m really excited and it’s something that I’m extremely honoured to be a part of,’ Richie added. ‘We have a lot of fun on it.’
