Devout Christian Alan Graham, 61, rumbled up to the American superstar on his
tractor to give her the ticking off.
The landowner said yesterday: “I realised things had got to a stage which were
not acceptable to me. Things became inappropriate and I asked the film crew
to stop.”
He added: “I had a conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where
I’m coming from. We shook hands.”
Dad-of-four Alan, who has a Christian message emblazoned on one of his barns
near Bangor, Northern Ireland, admitted he had not previously been familiar
with the singer’s work.
He said: “I’d never heard of Rihanna until someone called me requesting the
use of my land. The gentleman who made the arrangements was perhaps unaware
of what my expectations would be.
“If the name Rihanna had been mentioned, well, no disrespect but it
wouldn’t have meant anything.”
Earlier during Monday’s filming Alan had visited the field and watched happily
as the star vamped it up fully dressed.
But later as he drove by on his tractor he saw she had stripped down to a red
bikini top then watched in shock as she flashed her boobs.
The farmer, who is also a local politician for the Democratic Unionist Party,
said: “If someone wants to borrow my field and things become inappropriate,
then I say, ‘Enough is enough you are not entitled to do that’.”
But he added: “I wish no ill against Rihanna and her friends. I’m coming here
from a Christian ethos.”

After being booted off the field for which no payment had been made
Rihanna, 23, yesterday continued filming the video in Belfast.
She wore a denim top and skirt and black stockings as she acted out
finger-jabbing scenes for We Found Love.
Hordes of onlookers gathered to catch a glimpse of the singer.
Later filming continued at a chippie, where Rihanna danced on tables.
The fresh northern Irish climate would have come in stark contrast to the
chart-topper’s most recent port of call.
Rih has been enjoying the scorching sun of South America over recent weeks
while on tour in the continent.
She’s played a series of shows in Brazil, including Rio and the country’s
capital Brasilia.
But it’s not been all work for the Bajan recently.
In August she managed to sneak in a European holiday before returning to the
road.
She forked out 200,000 hiring a yacht for her and her pals, visiting St
Tropez and Cannes in the south of France, and Portofino and Sardinia in
Italy.
A month earlier the Grammy-winner made a rare return to her homeland Barbados,
where she cut loose at a carnival.
And on Thursday she starts a string of UK shows in Belfast.
She then takes in a host of other cities before bringing the trek to an end in
Newcastle on October 16.
