Cannes Film Festival might have a prestigious reputation – but not when Paris Hilton has an invite.
As A-listers swan around red carpets at the industry’s elite pre-summer movie showcase, the heiress injected her wild antics into the festival by descending on Terrazza Martini in true Hollywood style.
The blonde star attended photographer Ellen von Unwerth’s birthday party, with sister Nicky, wearing a prom princess dress and diamante clustered sunglasses – even though the venue was inside.

Clearly enjoying being the centre of attention, she was spied throwing shapes on the dancefloor.
Paris also twirled the lower half of her dress around to watch it flare out and put her arm around the Frankfurt-born birthday girl.
Excitedly tweeting from the event, Paris wrote: ‘Partying with my girl Ellen Von Unwerth at her party. She is such an incredible photographer and amazing woman. Love her!’

Ellen catapulted to fame when she photographed Claudia Schiffer in the Nineties, before going on to capture famous faces Britney Spears, Rihanna and Christina Aguilera.
She added: ‘Having the best time in #Cannes with @NickyHilton @FarrahBritt. Love my family!’

She arrived in France on Saturday, following a wild night of partying with old friend Lindsay Lohan, oil heir Brandon Davis and dozens of other young socialites, at a house party in the Hollywood Hills.

Paris Hilton went to a party. WHAT A SURPRISE!!!!! Seriously thoiugh this is a double tap of uslessness. 1) that’s pretty much all she does so this isn’t ‘news’ per say. Her doing something serious and respectable- or heck even just sitting home watching TV would be news by comparrison, 2) she is a hasbeen washed up and done.

Paris Hilton has a new mantra: Change is good.
“I’ve been a little immature in the past and made some wrong choices. But they made me who I am today,” the hotel heiress, who walked out of jail Tuesday morning, said in her first TV interview, on CNN’s Larry King Live Wednesday.
“I felt like this is a new beginning for me,” she added. “There’s just so much more to me than what people think.”
Advancing a message she first began to spread while still behind bars (and emphasized in her interview with PEOPLE on Tuesday), Hilton, 26, said she now appreciates “things I took for granted” and plans to use her fame “in a good way.” She called jail “a very traumatic experience, but I do feel God makes everything happen for a reason.”
