She’s happily embraced the reputation of an airhead but there’s always been a sense that there’s more to Paris Hilton.
The seemingly bubble-headed blonde might have been born into a hotel dynasty but in reality she has amassed her own fortune by shrewdly marketing herself as a two-dimensional cartoon character.

So perhaps it was a glimpse of the true Paris we got today as she arrived at a West Hollywood salon to get a sleek blow out.
Paris looked businesslike as she swept efficiently into the salon with a laptop tucked under her arm a clue that she was hard at work for the duration.
She perhaps had a bit to catch up on after a holiday in Europe.
The 31-year-old socialite and reality TV star has just returned from Ibiza where she was pictured having a whale of a time on board a friend’s luxury yacht.

Wearing a floppy black hat and bright yellow patterned bikini, the star spent time listening to music and chatting to friends in the Spanish sun.
She seemed delighted to be joined by a group of friends and their children, earlier tweeting:’On my friend’s yacht with all their kids. So cute! Between the ages of 4 8 know the words to every #EDM song blasting from my Iphone.’
She also wrote earlier: ‘Another beautiful day in #Ibiza! About to go on the yacht with my girls lay out, relax and swim. #LoveLife.’
Paris is currently trying to carve out a career as a DJ and recently made her professional debut at Sao Paula Music Festival in Brazil, playing a one-hour set for thousands of concert goers.
Shrewd businesswoman: Has Paris had us fooled all along?
‘I had so much fun deejaying at the Pop Music Festival,’ she told E!: ‘I could not have been happier with the crowd’s reaction to my set. It felt so good to be in control of the party and see everyone dancing!’
The hotel heiress is said to be ‘focusing all of her creative energy into her second album,’ a source close to the star recently told Radar Online.
‘Paris has been working with Flo Rida, LMFAO, and David Guetta, and the album should be released this summer, they added.
‘Paris hopes to embark on a European concert tour to promote the album, which will consist of house music. Paris knows she has a lot riding on this project because her last reality show was cancelled, and she needs to do something to re-invent herself.’
She has also launched her latest perfume, called Dazzle.

” Has Paris had us fooled all along?” You mean the daughter of a multi-millionaire, who probably has made sure she has both surrounded by high quality advisers, in terms of marketing and business, as well as any brains she has which the media just assumed never existed due to her hair colour? Shocking.
