‘We should all be proud of her for being real’: Kendra Wilkinson defends Jessica Simpson’s post-baby body

She gained 70 pounds during her pregnancy and has come under fire for her curvy post-baby body.
And as Jessica Simpson cranks up the exercise in a bid to shift those extra pounds, she has been defended by fellow reality star Kendra Wilkinson.
Kendra admitted she can sympathise with the star and had the same experience after the birth of her son Hank in December 2009.

Jessica, 32, has signed up as the latest face of Weight Watchers and has been spotted hitting the gym since the May 1 birth as part of her new regime.

But Kendra said that people should be celebrating the way that Jessica is putting her new daughter Maxwell, and not her weight loss regime, first.
She explained: ‘Her first priority right now is her child. Her first priority is not losing the weight. You should be proud of her for that.
‘A lot of people just dump their kids off at nannies and lose the weight overnight. We should all be proud of her for being real and taking control and making priorities.’

Jessica, who is rumoured to have weighed 210lbs at the height of her pregnancy, has set herself the goal of returning to a weight of 130 pounds.
Under the recently signed Weight Watchers contract, she is reported to be earning $4 million for her efforts.
Jessica celebrated her 32nd birthday yesterday and had her new baby girl by her side for the occasion.
Mother and daughter, along with Jessica’s fiancé Eric Johnson and a couple of the singer’s close girlfriends, including former assistant and Maxwell’s godmother Cacee Cobb, went to The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Weight gain is normal sure. 70 lbs though? Well over twice the recommended amount of weight gain for a woman of initially healthy weight. That is not pregnancy, that is gluttony, it is pretty obvious we are not talking about bump weight or water weight, she’s put on a lot of excess fat, an awful lot. If JS wanted to put on that kind of weight, I couldn’t care less that is her business, but don’t tell us to applaud it or think it’s a good or normal or healthy thing to do.
How come we have to pay Weightwatchers, but she gets paid????

It’s not about Jessica having a baby, it’s the fact that she over ate when she was pregnant, tweeted and boasted about the rubbish she ate!! Now that she has given birth she is left with the consequences of pregnancy and over-eating!! It’s not healthy to be obsessing about losing weight when you have a new-born to look after, so for that the paps she leave her alone!! Lesson to everyone just eat healthily whether pregnant or not, it’s very easy gain weight but very difficult to lose it!!

Twice the size of your original weight is pushing it, but 3 or 4 times, thats not OK. My second child was 9lb, and I never put on that much weight. After a month, you could not tell I had had a baby. OK, red flag me for that, but be realistic, it can be done and my baby was very healthy. This extra weight thing just because you are pregnant, 9 times out of 10, is down to lazy, eating too much and not exercising!! Sorry ladies, but you know its true!! Red flag me, and you know who you are

Jessica did have a very big baby. The fact is that she did gain weight while she was pregnant and she is putting forth the effort to lose it. Nothing else. As I age I’ve discovered that there are many reasons women gain weight so let’s give her a break and let her adjust to being a mommy.
I love Kendra, but watching her shows – Kendra and Girls of the Playboy Mansion (in the US the Girls Next Door) – I noticed that she tends to eat junk food, and I assume that eating more of it while pregnant caused her to put on quite a bit of weight for her height. The same goes for Jessica, she ate a lot of fast food. I suppose it is quite addictive, and even more so when you are pregnant and feeling more hungry. Please note that this is not a criticism of their sizes (Kendra looks amazing and I am sure Jessica will in due course), but just a reminder that you have to be careful of what you eat, otherwise it will take a lot of hard work to get rid of the extra pounds. And by careful, I don’t mean to deprive yourself of what you fancy, but eat anything in moderation.
The photo of Kendra and her son ‘today’ looks very dodgy to me, the shoes don’t seem to fit in with the picture, take a look and you’ll see what I mean. PS Who cares about the weight Jessica did or didn’t gain/lose?

Jessica Simpson should just live her life, she’s nearly got a billion dollar empire, her looks aren’t really her main earner anyway. Good for her! SHE LOOKS GREAT ANYWAY!
